GINGER NINJALYTICS v1.0.0.0

Get a reading link Why is this a thing?
It's the smallest hump we could build — just tall enough that bots, scrapers, and drive-by traffic won't bother climbing it. This isn't a marketing site chasing clicks; if you care enough to type your email, you're exactly who the content is for. Isn't it a little sad that effort of this magnitude counts as a barrier?

Enter your email and we'll send you a sign-in link — no account or password needed. The link is valid for 12 hours and gives read access to the blog.

Why block public access?

Not to take your data — that will never be the reason. Bots, scrapers and AI-training crawlers are: left open, a site like this gets strip-mined, so it sits behind the smallest door there is — an email address.

Signing in properly opens the full set of features. If you only want to look around, a reading link gets you 12 hours; the email you give is recorded, and nothing else is.

Notice there is no Create account. There's nothing to create — no password to invent, none stored here, none to leak. Your sign-in lives with Google or your inbox, who guard identities for a living, so the fuckery of a credential breach is offloaded to people equipped for it.

In the Geocities days none of this would have been necessary. It is not the Geocities days. This is the compromise Ginger Ninjalytics has settled on.
